Seratta Hydrangea ~ Lace cap Hydrangea 'Tuff Stuff Top Fun'

Native Status: Non-Native
Description: Hardier and more compact than H. macrophylla, this plant was previously listed with lacecap hydrangeas due to its flattened flower heads. However, this is a smaller, more compact plant with smaller leaves and flowers. Little pruning is required for this hydrangea and should be done after flowering as it blooms on the previous season's stems. The annual growth rate is about 18". Bold lacecap blooms are supported by bright burgundy stems. Each flower is filled with cheery green fertile florets at the center and purple or pink infertile florets around the edges. Inviting to pollinators and quite a lovely cut for florists. Flowers bloom continuously throughout summer, first on old wood and later on new wood. Highly suitable for container planting
