Each year, Master Gardener volunteers must enroll in at least 10 hours of continuing education. An easy way to meet this requirement is to attend the education session after the monthly Association meeting. Alternatively, here is a list of pre-approved continuing education providers that you can count towards your education. 

• Any horticulture related seminars/webinar/class/workshop hosted by NC State, County Extension Centers, or MG programs

• Monthly Plant, Pests, and Pathogen webinars

• Coastal Landscape Initiative offerings (NC Sea Grant)  

• JC Raulston Arboretum Offerings (NCSU) 

• Horticulture related courses from other land grant universities 

• NC Forestry (Natural Resources)

• NC Wildlife (Natural Resources)

• UNCW (Natural Resources, Water Quality)

• USDA/NCDA&CS

• Soil and Water Conservation District

• North Carolina Native Plant Society

·All non-extension/NCSU and non-pre-approved education will need the approval of Tayor. Please submit requests by email.
