The Brunswick County Master Gardeners will be participating in the 2026 Ready Brunswick Preparedness Expo and Health & Wellness Fair on Tuesday, May 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Brunswick County Government Center in Bolivia.
This year’s event brings together two popular community gatherings into one engaging, family-friendly experience focused on health, wellness, and emergency preparedness. With more than 50 local organizations and businesses participating, it’s a great opportunity to learn how to stay informed, prepared, and resilient.
Be sure to stop by the Master Gardener table! We’ll be there to:
Answer your gardening and plant questions
Share research-based, consumer horticulture resources
Offer guidance on creating sustainable, resilient landscapes suited to our coastal environment
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started, we’re happy to help you grow with confidence.
The event will also feature interactive demonstrations, health screenings, emergency response displays, and activities for all ages—plus a few fun extras like Italian ice, popcorn, and a raffle.
