Ocean View United Methodist Church on Oak Island is hosting an Environmental Stewardship Resource Fair and has invited the Brunswick County Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteers to host a table focused on native plant selections for our coastal region.

The event begins at 11:00 a.m. with a welcome and screening of UNCW’s documentary Shew’s Natural Treasures, followed by the Resource Fair from noon–2:00 p.m.

Stop by our table to discover native plants that thrive in Brunswick County and support pollinators, birds, and other wildlife. We’ll have easy-to-use resources on native plants and pollinators, soil sample kits and testing information, and Master Gardener volunteers ready to answer your gardening questions. Learn how to choose the right plant for the right place, prepare your planting site, and give your plants the care they need to thrive in our unique coastal conditions.
