Pollinator Plus Workshop

Registration opens on Augsut 1st at 9:00 am.

🐝 Learn. Count. Plant. Join Brunswick County Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteers for a fun, hands-on workshop featuring the Great Southeast Pollinator Census, followed by six pollinator-friendly plants to take home—all while supporting Cooperative Extension outreach programs.

🐝 Workshop Details:

  • Friday, Aug 21 or Saturday, August 22, 1:00 - 3:00 pm

  • $40 per student

  • Brunswick County Extension Office

  • The workshop is indoors, then we will go outside for the census - please dress accordingly

Along with the workshop, participating in the Census will give you a real-time opportunity to observe and round out your knowledge of pollinators, as well as generate useful data about pollinator populations that scientists can use to spot trends and develop conservation strategies.

As a BONUS and included in your registration, you'll go home with 6 pollinator plants, including a number of drought tolerant plants, featuring Black Eyed Susan, Blanket Flowers and Coneflowers.

Proceeds help support Cooperative Extension outreach, educational programs, and the Botanical Garden.
