In conjunction with the Great Southeast Pollinator Census 2025, the Brunswick County Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteers are offering Pollinator PLUS Workshops on August 22 & 23, 2025 at 1:00 pm. We will discuss the importance of pollinators, the plants that support them, and then visit our Demonstration Garden where you will participate, along with Master Gardener volunteers, in the Great SE Pollinator Census!

Along with the workshop, participating in the Census will give you a real-time opportunity to observe and round out your knowledge of pollinators, as well as generate useful data about pollinator populations that scientists can use to spot trends and develop conservation strategies.

As a BONUS and included in your registration, you will go home with 5 pollinator plants (including Milkweeds, Coneflowers, and Bee Balm) for your garden. You will have the opportunity to purchase additional pollinator’s favorite plants, selection will vary.

We anticipate registration will open early August via Eventbrite and cost $30.00. Participation is limited to 25 participants per session. The workshop will be held at the Brunswick County Extension Office, 25 Referendum Drive, Building N, Government Complex, Bolivia, NC 28422.
