We host plant sales featuring perennials, herbs, and shrubs—sourced from trusted vendors or our own gardens—with proceeds supporting the Botanical Garden and other community projects.

EMGs take learning on the road with Field Trip Fridays, visiting gardens and research sites across the region. From camellias to carnivorous plants, each trip blends education, friendship, and fun.

Our hands-on public workshops—like Grow Your Own Salad Bowl, Backyard Bee Hotels, and Container Herb Gardens—help participants leave with new skills, inspiration, and a living project to take home.

Through “Ask an EMG” clinics at libraries, festivals, and the Extension Office, EMGs answer gardening questions, identify plants, and share sustainable tips.

Partnering with Habitat for Humanity, EMGs design and install pollinator-friendly landscapes that bring color, pride, and long-term beauty to new homes

EMGs maintain an 18-area Botanical Garden, open daily for self-guided tours. Visitors can explore pollinator, native, and rain gardens—each designed to spark ideas for coastal Zone 8 landscapes.
